I started designing in 2019, but I always aimed to go beyond visuals and design actionable, end-to-end systems. To gain a technical edge and a deep understanding of how products truly come together, I spent 6 months in beast-mode learning how to code.
This led to my first role at an AI mental health startup, where I led UX and product design, while driving frontend development. I scaled a bootstrapped MVP to 10 paid customers and helped raise over $250K.
Next, I joined a VR startup, where I led the product design process from research and prototyping user flows to building interfaces. My workflow optimizations reduced dev time by 40%.
In Feb 2025, I left my job as it no longer aligned with my values. I dived deeper into AI, refined my skills, and networked. Not long after, I met my co-founder, and together, we began building an idea. Today, we have an MVP, and a proof that people find real value in it. We're gaining early traction.
As a first-time founder, it's hard to put into words, but it feels like I'm finally grasping the complete picture. In the words of Stranger in a Strange Land, I've truly grokked the power of rapid iteration, a validation-first approach, and the delicate balance of speed and precision—always with the end-user in mind.
While building my startup has been one of the most profound learning experiences of my life, I'm also actively seeking a full-time product design role within a small, fast-moving, and ambitious team.
In return, I bring strong product thinking and a founder's mindset—ownership, speed, adaptability—into every team I join. I manage my time intentionally to ensure both my role and my startup journey strengthen each other without conflict.
